Due Wednesday, October 8, 2025
2025 Program Description
Episcopalians aged 18 to 30 are eligible for The Liddell Award for Young Adult Service, which honors a generous gift in support of The Church Club of New York’s ministry by Jane and Donald Macy Liddell Jr. Candidates are invited to apply directly for the Award or may be nominated; in either case, submission information and the fillable award application form may be found below.
The Church Club of New York is a nonprofit charitable organization whose purpose is to strengthen the life and faith of The Episcopal Church and the Anglican Communion by offering its members and others opportunities for education, training, enrichment, discussion, and fellowship.
The Liddell Young Adult Service Award seeks to honor and recognize an exemplary young adult for outstanding volunteer ministry within Episcopal Dioceses of New York, New Jersey, Newark, Long Island or Connecticut, in the fields of service, education, health, arts, technology, civic advocacy or any other ministry that supports and contributes to the life of the church and the worldwide Anglican Communion. A candidate’s ministry must be completely as a volunteer and outside of the scope of his/her professional responsibilities.
Honorarium: The Awardee will receive a $3,000 stipend designated by the officers of The Church Club of New York.
Submission Deadlines: Electronic applications must be received by the close of business on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Acknowledgment of receipt of all applications will be made by email.
